Adam Eberle, 89, Hague, ND, died Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Strasburg Care Center, Strasburg, ND. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague, ND, with Rev. Al Leary officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Adam was born October 31, 1922 in Hague, ND, the son of Joseph and Magdalene (Wolf) Eberle. He was raised on a farm northeast of Hague and attended country school. Adam married Katie Materi on November 15, 1945 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague. They lived and farmed northeast of Hague until moving into Hague in 1964. They continued to farm until retiring in the early 90's, but still helped on the farm following retirement. Adam enjoyed fishing, playing cards and watching sports. He is survived by his wife, Katie, Hague, ND, three sons and daughters-in-law, Rocky and Cheryl Eberle, Hague, ND, Jim and Judy Eberle, Ellendale, ND and Terry and Donna Eberle, Minneapolis, MN, five grandchildren, Tyler Eberle, Nathan Eberle, Jeanne (Vernon) Richter, Jason (Leanne) Eberle, and Christopher (Stephane) Eberle, four great grandchildren, Megan and Kayla Eberle, Joanna Richter and James Eberle, one brother and 5 sisters-in-law, John and Frances Eberle of Bloomer, WI, Marietta Eberle, Hague, ND, Rose Eberle, Hague, ND, Joanne Eberle, Lodi, CA and Phil Eberle, Lodi, CA. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, his parents, nine brothers, Anton, Math, Pete, Frank, Mike, Andy, Joe, George and August and three sisters, Katie, Lena and Anna.
