Albert W. Noel Sr., age 84 of Jamestown, ND, formerly of Linton, ND, died March 20, 2019 at the Ava Maria Village in Jamestown.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 26 th at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Linton with Father David Zimmer as celebrant and Deacon Ken Votava assisting.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday at Myers Funeral Home and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the funeral mass on Tuesday.
Burial will take place at a later date in the St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.
Albert W. Noel Sr. was born April 26, 1934, to John and Katherine (Geiss) Noel. He was born, raised, and ran the original "Noel Farmstead" until his retirement in 2014.
Albert Sr. married Beverly Bichler on July 17, 1958 and they were blessed with seven children.
The reason God called him home is He needed a great farmer and mechanic at his side.
Blessed to have shared in Albert Sr.'s life is his wife of 60 years, Beverly, of Kulm, ND; his seven children, Jimmy Noel of Kulm, Brenda (Robert) Bernhardt of Aberdeen, SD, Bonnie (Tim) Dauenhauer of Jamestown, Pamela (Leslie) Merck of Minot, Michael (Diann) Noel of Fargo, Katherine (Jerry) Franck of Leola, SD, and Albert Jr. (Lisa) Noel of Linton; 16 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores (Edwin) Nagel of Linton; and one brother, Matthew (Marsha) Noel of Naperville, IL.
Albert Sr. was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Isabel Noel and Herrietta Nagel; and one brother, John Noel, Jr.
Albert's family would like to send a special thanks to the faculty of Roseadele Care Center and the Ava Maria Village for their kindness and care of Albert.
