Albina "Snooks" Kelsch, 96, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Missouri Slope, Bismarck, North Dakota.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 am, Wednesday, November 4, 2020, St. Anthony Catholic Church, Linton, ND with Father Shannon Lucht officiating. A rosary will be held prior to the service at 11:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Linton, ND.
Burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Linton, ND.
Albina was born October 12, 1924 to Anton and Clara (Schmidt) Holzer in Trail City, SD.
On November 3, 1943 Albina married John Kelsch in Trail City, SD. They lived on the family farm east of Linton. They had four children together, Gary, Joannie, Gerry and Geraldine. In 1968 Albina and John moved the family into town. Albina was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and a member of Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters.
Albina loved traveling, playing cards, bingo, and crocheting but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren, they were her pride and joy.
In 2012 Albina moved in to the Nodak Apartments where she enjoyed visiting and playing cards with her friends.
Albina is survived by her one son, Gary Kelsch of Linton and special friend, Barb Mueller, Napoleon; one daughter Joannie (Rick) Schulz of Streeter, ND; ten grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren and four great- great- grandchildren; one brother Leo (Rose) Holzer, Pierre, SD; two sisters Charmaine Mosset, Linton, ND and Clarrisa (Mark) Klien, Menoken, ND; one brother-in-law, Clarence (Doris) Kelsch of Eugene, OR; three sister-in-law's, Julia Mattern, Bismarck, ND, Bernice Holzer, Bismarck, ND and Beverly Holzer.
Albina was proceeded in death by her husband, John of 65 years; her son Gerry Kelsch; her daughter Geraldine Hager; her parents; one daughter-in-law, Frances Kelsch; four brothers, Paul, Peter, Albert and Art; one sister, Irene Horner.
