Allois "Al" M. Wolf, 75, Linton, ND died March 10, 2025 in a Bismarck hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 17, 2025 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Linton with Father Mark Aune officiating. Interment will be held in the North Dakota Veteran's Cemetery, rural Mandan, ND at 2:00 PM on Monday with full military honors. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a rosary/vigil at 5:00 PM Sunday at the Sannes Feist Family Funeral Home in Linton. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
Allois M. Wolf was born on May 24, 1949 in Linton, ND, the son of Michael M. and Anne (Vetter) Wolf of rural Linton. Al attended grade school in a one room school in Emmons County and later graduated from Linton High School. Al joined the National Guard in the late sixties during the Vietnam War. Upon his return home, he worked as a CNA at the Strasburg Care Center and later at the Sales barn for many years. He started farming with his parents and resided on the family farm. He moved into Linton in 1997 when his mother died. While living in Linton, he worked for the Emmons County Weed Board, spraying weeds all over Emmons County. Al also was a maintenance man for Emmons County Housing Apartments. Al retired from spraying when his hands became extremely crippled from Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Al enjoyed hunting and fishing to the fullest, catching a whopper 22lb northern. Al joined his brother and family deer hunting in western North Dakota every fall until his health failed. Al belonged to St. Anthony Catholic Church, Linton American Legion and the Senior Citizens.
Al loved to go uptown and have coffee and visit with everyone, he also enjoyed watching the news, Gunsmoke and sports, especially football.

Moch, Kintyre, ND; nieces and nephews: Russell (Lanelle) Wolf, Bismarck, ND, Ross (Kara) Wolf, Bismarck, N, Roberta (Jerome) Knottsick, Bismarck, ND, Patty Moch, Kintyre, ND, Gary (Kristi) Moch, Kintyre, ND, Jessica (Eric) Schumacher, Bismarck, ND, Joshua (Dawn) Moch, Napoleon, ND, Natalie (Dennis) Hoheisel, Elysian, MN, Michael Braun, Rapid City, SD, Jennifer Braun, Phoenix, AZ and Angela Braun, Bismarck, ND and all their families; and sister-in-law, Janelle Wolf, Bismarck, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob; infant brother, brother-in-law, Larry Moch and a great nephew, Joey Moch.
