Alvina Goldade, 90, of Linton, ND, died May 2, 2025 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Linton with Fr. Mark Aune officiating. Burial will be at St Aloysius Cemetery, Hague, ND. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Sannes Feist Family Funeral Home, Linton, ND. There will be a rosary/vigil at 7pm.
Alvina was born on June 20, 1934 in Strasburg, ND, the daughter of Adam & Katie (Feist) Holzer. She was raised on the family farm and attended rural school. On November 5, 1952 she married John Goldade, they farmed together until his death. She moved to Linton where she did some babysitting, worked for Experience Works, The Rivery, was an assistant cook at the Senior Center, worked at the potato farm, Linton Bowling Alley and Webo's.
She loved to can, knit, crochet, sew, cook, bake, always giving you something to do when you came home. She was extremely hardworking. She enjoyed spending time with family, was a delight to be around and always offered welcome shot of red eye when anyone came to visit.
Alvina was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Christian Mothers, Catholic Order of Foresters, The Red Hat Society, The Linton Senior Citizens and Meals on Wheels.
Alvina is survived by her children: Wilbert (Janet) Goldade, Sandra (Tom) Richter, Diana (James) Jangula, Cynthia (Jeff) Jochim, Joann Davidson, Geraldine (Dean) Leidholm, Betty (Wade) Jensen, Alvina (Barry) Schmidt, Ronald (Jean) Goldade, Richard Goldade, Shirley (Rob) Goldade, Terrance (Nikki) Goldade and Melissa (Todd) Johnson; 25 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Kathryn Mosset and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Goldade; sons: John and David; Daughter, Alice; granddaughter, Rebecca Jangula; great grandson, Holden Schneider; sons-in-law: Bob Davidson and Danny Jochim; and sisters: Ramona Heidrich, Rose Wikenheiser, Hildagard Holzer, Lillian Schwan; brother, Alois Holzer.
