Andrew Earl Werlinger, Jr., 53, Hague, ND, died Sunday, February 21, 2010 in a Rochester, MN hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at St. Marys Catholic Church, Hague, ND, with Rev. Paul Eberle and Rev. Albert Leary officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, ND and continue from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the church in Hague, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday, one hour before services at the church. Andy was born April 25, 1956 in Linton, ND, the son of Andrew, Sr. and Helen (Feist) Werlinger. He attended school in Hague, ND, and graduated from Hague High School in 1974. Andy then went custom harvesting and attended auctioneering school. Andy married Kimberly Buchholz in November, 1991. While farming, he had a custom crop spraying business. He also worked for UPS and Cross Country Courier during the winters, worked as a school custodian in Alexandria, MN and drove school bus at Hague. Andys greatest love was that of farming and of small towns. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Strasburg Lions Club, Hague Store Board and St. Marys Catholic Church. Andy was instrumental in the reopening of the Zeeland Caf. He enjoyed meeting people and had many friends. Andy especially loved children, and teasing them. Andy died Sunday, February 21, 2010 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN, with family at his bedside. Andy is survived by five brothers and three sisters-in-law: Marvin and Rosie Werlinger of Circle Pines, MN, Duane and Sandy Werlinger of Linton, ND, Kenneth Werlinger and Mary Hoots of Zeeland, ND, Walter Werlinger of Grafton, ND and Roger and Audrey Werlinger of Ham Lake, MN; four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Kathy and John Meier of Zeeland, ND, Doris Barry and Charlie Maue of Rogers, MN, Carol and Robert Aberle of Gillette, WY, Eileen Werlinger and Bob Ackerman of Bismarck, ND his ex-wife, Kimberly Buchholz-Werlinger, who remains a close, loving friend with Andy and his family; his love for children was evident in his love and pride for all of his nieces and nephews . . . Lenora, Jackie, Michael, Lisa, Jason, Adam, Janell, Kevin, Keith, Michelle, Darin, Ryan, Mike, Nick and Kaylee. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Elmer and one sister, Laura.
