Angela Jangula, 95, formerly of Braddock, ND died Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in the Linton Hospital, Linton, ND.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. Katherine's Catholic Church, Braddock with Father Dave Zimmer officiating. She will be buried in the church cemetery beside her husband, Adam of 69 ½ years.

Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2017, 2 – 4 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home, Linton.

A Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the church in Braddock.

Angela Magrum was born at the family farm in Tell Township, Kintyre, ND, to Edward and Bertha (Ringius) Magrum on August 11, 1922.  She was the 8 ^th of 12 children.  She attended rural Goose Lake School through the eighth grade.  She spent her teen years working on the family farm.

Angela's mother taught her how to make quilts, washing and bleaching the wool in the summer, and carding the wool and making quilts during the winter months.

Angela married Adam Leo Jangula on October 7, 1941 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Braddock.  They lived on several Braddock and Hazelton area farms before moving to one five miles west of Braddock.  They retired in 1988 and moved into Hazelton.

Angela and Adam spent nine winters traveling in their motor home visiting every state except Maine and Delaware.  They also traveled throughout Canada.  She kept in touch with special friends and relatives she met on these trips.  She kept a journal of their travels and has also written her memories, some of which have been published.

Angela hand-quilted hundreds of quilts for her family and friends.  She was a life-long member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Katherine's Catholic Church.

Angela loved playing cards, fishing and adventure. Her adventures included sky diving at 90, white water rafting at 92 and riding the roller coasters at 94.  She achieved all of the items on her bucket list.

Angela is survived by seven daughters, Kathleen Sayle, Nantucket Island, MA, Victoria (Robert) Jackson, Wichita, KS, Angela (Thomas) Murray, Wilmington, IL, Linda Schumacher Kelsch, Linton, Janice (Larry) LaBonne, Leesburg, FL, Sandra Baumgartner, Braddock, and Reyne Kapaun, Maui, HI; one son, Carter (Renee) Jangula, Lincoln, ND; 25 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.  Angela also leaves six special nieces and nephews, children of Zyta Jangula, who spent their summers and vacations on the farm.  Plus the neighbor's four children (the late Pat and Donna Silvernagel) whom she considered to be a foster grandparent too.

Angela leaves one sister, Martha Kuntz, Mandan, and two sisters-in-law, Zyta Jangula of Mandan and Lena (Harry) Wolbaum, Bismarck.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Adam, six brothers, Bernard, John, Clarence, James, Reuben and Mark; four sisters, Mary Phillips, Geneveive Magrum, Josephine Conners, Sister Virginia (Christine) Magrum; sons-in-law, Charlie Sayle, David Baumgartner, Ronald Schumacher, and Raymond Kelsch; one granddaughter, Robyn Jangula and one great-granddaughter, Sylvia Thomas.
