Annie "Ricki" Senger, 79, of Strasburg, ND, died Friday, May 11, 2012 in the Strasburg Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg with the Reverend Paul Eberle and Reverend Albert Leary officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home, Linton and from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the church with a prayer service at 7:30pm. Annie was born on January 6, 1933 on a farm south of Zeeland, ND, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Feist) Nolz. She attended school in Zeeland and graduated from college in Great Falls, Montana with a certificate in teaching. When Annie was 18 years old, she joined the Order of St. Benedict. Annie taught school for thirtyone years in many different schools in North Dakota and Minnesota. Annie married Jerome Senger on June 30, 1988 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg. They owned and operated the "Blue Room" for many years. She entered the Strasburg Care Center on September 30, 2010. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, crocheting, reading, shopping, watching tv game shows and listening to old time music. She also enjoyed traveling and making trips to Germany, The Holy Land, Canada and California. She is survived by her husband, Jerome, Strasburg, ND; her family: Dan and Rose Senger, Bismarck, ND, James and Denise Senger, Mandan, ND, David Senger, Oakes, ND, Dennis and Bonnie Senger, Bismarck, ND, Francis Senger and friend Kristy, Mandan, ND, Ryan and Tena Senger, Littleton, ND, Judy and Allen Lacher, Bismarck, ND, Linda and Gaven Wolf, Cogswell, ND, Donna and Paul Krumm, Sandy, UT, Patty and Grant Levi, Bismarck, ND, Mary and Jim Kramer, Linton, ND and Lisa and Scott Meyers,. Marshall, MN; thirty step grandchildren; twenty-one step great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters-in-law: Eugene and Rose Nolz, Zeeland, ND, Joseph Nolz, Napoleon, ND, Francis and Anna Nolz, Linton, ND, Pius Nolz, Wells, NV, and Andrew and Liz Nolz, Marion, IA; one sister and brother-in-law: Helen and Ray Wolf, Zeeland, ND; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; a step son, Terrance "Terry" Senger; a stepdaughter, Karen Marie Senger; two step grandchildren; three brothers: Aloysius Nolz, Leo Nolz and Martin Nolz; and a sister, Rose Marie Nolz.
