Anton "Tony O." Olheiser, 67, Linton, ND, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the Linton Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Monday, December 3, 2018, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Linton.

Visitation will be from 11 am to 7 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at Myers Funeral Home, Linton.

Tony was born on July 10 ^th 1951 in Tappen, ND to Frank and Barbara (Wald) Olheiser. He was raised in Linton and has continued to live his life there.

He was a jack of all trades with many talents. Family and friends would call on him for jobs nobody else knew how to do. He was very generous and often did these side jobs for free. He spent some time as a hired man for farmers, including the Lawlers and the late Neil Sauter, who were special friends of his. He also worked for the Linton Sheet Metal and continued to work with Greg after it became Humann's Heating and Air.

Tony was a proud father to 3 children and grandchildren whom he shared with Verna Heying (Jangula). He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Deer hunting and fishing derbies with his brother, Mike, were yearly events where many happy memories were made. In Tony's early years he drove in the Linton demolition derby every 4 ^th of July and earned many trophies through those years. Getting the cars ready was a fun hobby for him. He liked to collect coins and various items and enjoyed going to sales to get that "rare find".

Tony was a man of his own. Those who knew him would say he was kind, giving, humble, and full of pride. He loved music and liked to dance. Family gatherings at his moms and homemade German foods were his favorite.

He is survived by his special friend and significant other, Lynette Stewart of Linton; his son, Ryan of Linton; 2 daughters, Lisa (Terry) Kovacs of Plymouth, MN and Stacy (Jared) Wipf of Mandan, ND; grandchildren, Taylor, Kennedy, Billianna, Emma, Jaydlen and Jayce; brother, Joe (Alice) Olheiser; sister, Barb Geisen (Gary Proudy); sister-in-law, Bernie Olheiser; brother-in-law, Dale Ullrich; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Mike and George Olheiser; sisters, Mary Ann Ullrich and Betty Bosch.
