Benadina Wald, 99 of Bismarck, ND, formerly of Linton, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026 with her children by her side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Linton with Fr. Mark Aune officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Sannes Feist Family Funeral Home, Linton. There will be a rosary and sharing at 7pm.

Benadina was born on January 25, 1927. The daughter of John & Margaret (Bosch) Vetter. She was raised on the family farm east of Linton. On June 7, 1948, Benadina was united in marriage to Thomas M. Wald. Together they made their home in Linton where they raised two daughters.

Grateful to have shared her life are her daughters: Elsie (Tony) Holzer, Linton and Elaine (Dan) Geffre, Perham, MN; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Levina Vetter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; grandson, Brian Holzer; her parents, John and Margaret Vetter; siblings: John, Barbara Mathern, Mary Bosch, Tillie Johs, Valentine and George.
