Obituary

Bernadine Bernie Bosch, formerly of Linton, ND, died Saturday, December 12, 2009 on her 73rd birthday, in a Bismarck Care Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Linton, ND with Rev. Gary Benz officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthonys Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, ND where there will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour before services at the church on Wednesday. Bernadine was born December 12, 1936 on a farm near Hague, ND, the daughter of Frank and Christina (Imberi) Hulm. She attended country school. Bernie continued to work on the family farm. She married Anton Tony Bosch on November 4, 1957 at St. Marys Catholic Church, Hague, ND. They lived on the Bosch family farm. Bernie and her husband were co-owners at T & R Warehouse Foods in partnership with Ron Schumacher. In 1987 they sold it to Ron. Bernie also did house cleaning and painting for several families in town and worked at Hulms Grocery Store. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. Bernie moved to Bismarck in 2005 where she lived at the Waterford. She entered Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center on June 5, 2008. Bernie enjoyed crocheting, making several afghans, playing cards and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a member of Linton Senior Citizens, the Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters. Bernie is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law: Doris and LaMonte Mikesh of Bismarck, ND and Debbie and Joe Kalberer, Hazelton, ND; six grandchildren: Stephanie (Richard) Orr, Brittney and Christa Nagel, Katelyn, Tyrell and Karlee Kalberer; four brothers and three sisters-in-law: Leo and Mary Hulm of Linton, ND, Ray and Rose Hulm, Linton, ND, John and Rose Hulm, Strasburg, ND and Frank Hulm of Dickinson, ND; three sisters and three brothers-in-law: Eleanor and Ray Heilman of Bowdle, SD, Rose and Ray Bosch of Linton, ND and Maggie and Andy Schmidt of Minot, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tony in 2000, one son, Terry, one brother, Alfred and one sister, Mary Ann.
