Carmen M. Petrick, 51, Linton, ND, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018, at CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2018 at Myers Funeral Home in Linton.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Peace Lutheran Church in Linton with Pastor Sean Barnhart officiating.

Carmen was born on November 9, 1966 in Bryan, TX to Keith and Evelyn (Enockson) Petrick. When Carmen was 2 years old, she and her family moved to Linton. She attended school in Linton and graduated from Linton High School in 1985. She was active in sports and band, a member of the National Honor Society and was also homecoming queen.

For 2 years Carmen attended Minot State University, Minot, ND. As a military wife, she and her husband moved to Japan and then spent time in Germany as well. She later moved to Maryland where she lived until 2009 when she returned home to Linton.

Carmen was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church Women. Her greatest joy was her children and their special friends. She was looking forward to them getting married, and having future grandchildren. She loved cooking and experimenting with new recipes, which were 'usually' enjoyed by family and friends.

She will be missed by her mom and dad; 3 children, Ryan (special friend, Kirsten), Lauren, and Ashley (special friend C.J.); 1 brother, Bob and his family; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her constant Jack Russel companions, Lauren and Boo.
