Clarence Anthony Heier, loving husband, brother and father passed away at age 69 in Tolleson, Arizona on June 28, 2021.

Clarence was born March 12, 1952, on a farm near Hague, ND, the son of Rainer and Alice (Miller) Heier. He grew up on the family farm and attended Hague schools. He married Donna McNamara in Chicago, IL on October 28, 1974. Clarence started a career in retail management, traveling to many different states and cities including Montana, Utah, Wyoming, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota. He had two sons - Greg John Heier born in Baraboo, WI on April 13, 1976, and Michael Anthony Heier born in Davenport, IA on November 8, 1986.

Clarence spent his last few years in Information Technology with Salt River Project before he retired in 2017. In Minnesota, Clarence worked for Northgate and Software Etc. which helped transform his career from retail to information technology. Clarence married Sheryl Lee Girard in Tempe, AZ on November 11, 2011.  In his free time, Clarence enjoyed learning the ins and outs of technology as well as getting back to his farm roots with fairs, tractor shows and most of all, truck and tractor pulls. He was a Master Gardener and loved growing vegetables and fruit trees in the back yard. Clarence loved tinkering with computers and spent many a morning working on his computer. Clarence's wonderful temperament and sense of humor will be greatly missed by friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Sheryl Lee Heier, four children - Greg John Heier and Ramu Sita Pilli of New Hope, MN, Crystal Rae Girard Perez and Berto Perez and two grandsons Lucas and Samuel Perez, of Tolleson, AZ, Thomas Anthony Girard and Amber Kerstein of San Diego, CA, Michael Anthony and Tina Renee Heier of Litchfield Park, AZ. His first wife Donna Mary McNamara of Stewart, MN and nine brothers and sisters, Jane & Ray Senger of Linton, ND, Francis Julius Heier of Fargo, ND, Linda Mae and Jimmy Mitchell of Minneapolis, MN, Joseph Raymond & Debbie Heier of Tacoma, WA, Gary Peter Heier of Tacoma, WA, Marie Katherine and Rick Landsberger of Bismarck, ND, Steven Michael Heier of Bismarck, ND, Andrew William and Yvonne Heier of Tampa, FL, Michelle Ann and Ron Anijo of Tacoma, WA, along with many cousins, nephews and nieces.

He is preceded by his parents Rainer Benedict and Alice Eve Heier and two brothers - David John Heier of Bismarck, ND and Richard Rainer Heier of Casselton, ND.

He will be buried by his father and mother in St Mary's Cemetery, Hague, North Dakota. Memorial service will be July 16, 2021, with a funeral mass at 9:00am at St Mary Catholic Church with a get together after at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hague.
