Cody Sabot, 19, of Hazelton, ND, died September 30, 2011 at a St. Cloud, MN hospital. A celebration of his life will be held at 4:00pm Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the Hazelton Community Center with Deacon Ken Wolbaum officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Dawson Cemetery, Dawson, ND.Cody was born January 13, 1992 in Bismarck to Clyde and Wendy Sabot. Cody spent his first 2 years living in Bismarck. He moved with his mother and sisters to Hazelton in 1993. They later moved to Linton where Cody attended kindergarten thru 3rd grade. They returned to Hazelton where he entered the 4th grade and continued until graduation in 2010. Cody loved music, especially the drums which he played in the H-M-B Band. Cody enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He spent quite a bit of time with his Grandpa Mel helping in Grandpas many endeavors. It was from Grandpa Mel that Cody learned the construction trade. Cody worked for his grandpa doing construction both before and after graduation. He also worked for Richard Robillard doing construction. Cody had planned on attending college to study computers and was usually the one family turned to for "technical assistance". Cody also loved his pets Ginger (his adopted cat) and dogs Jack and Gator. Cody's final act of kindness was giving the gift of Life through organ donation. Cody will forever be missed by special friend Stephanie Reamann and the Reamann family, his parents Clyde Sabot (Bismarck) and Wendy Sabot (Hazelton). His sisters, Nichole (Arvada, CO) and Ashley (Fargo). His grandparents, Mel and Cathy Fortner (Hazelton), and Ruth Fortner (Anaconda, MT). Close aunts Shelly (Randy) Simon (Hannover), Melva Fortner (Napoleon), Uncle Dennis Fortner(California), and cousins Kayla, Emily, CJ, Will, Greg, Samantha, Slade as well as many other extended family. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Dee and Eddie Telin, and Lawrence Sabot.
