Curtis "Curt" E. Hettich, 82, Regan, ND passed away February 25, 2025 in the Linton Regional Medical Center, Linton, ND.  Military graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the North Dakota Veteran's Cemetery, rural Mandan, ND.  The Bismarck AMVETS and the North Dakota Army National Guard will provide military rites.

Curt was born January 16, 1943 in Regan, ND the son of Amelia (Klatt) and Karl Hettich.  He grew up on the family farm and served in the U.S. Army from 1966 until his honorable discharge in 1968.  He farmed the family land and drove truck until his retirement.  He enjoyed attending auction sales and polka fests.

He is survived by his daughter, Lorie Gross; his son, Damon (Jennie) Hettich; his step daughters, Shari (Todd) Langeliers and Karen (Kenton) Pulkrabek; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents, 5 siblings and 2 grandchildren.
