Cyrella D. Wangler, 78, of Hazelton, ND, died November 8, 2022 in a Bismarck Hospital.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, November 12, 2022 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Hazelton with Fr. Mark Aune officiating.  Burial will take place in the St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service with a rosary beginning at 10:00am all at the church.

Cyrella was born on September 7, 1944 in Logan County, the daughter of Anton C. & Dorthea (Haegele) Wald.  She attended country school and later attended Catholic School in Napoleon.  She married Andrew Wangler on October 8, 1962 at St. Phillip's Catholic Church in Napoleon, ND.  Following their marriage, they lived near Napoleon and for a short time, they lived in Montana.  They settled in Hazelton in 1971 where they raised their family.  Cyrella was a very active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.  She was a member of the Altar Society, St. Anne's Circle and taught CCD for a few years.  She enjoyed walking and visiting with family and friends.

Andrew died on May 11, 1998 and Cyrella later married John B. Engelhart on November 25, 2000 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Zeeland.  They lived in Zeeland until John's death in February 17, 2010 and  Cyrella then moved back to Hazelton.

Cyrella is survived by her son, Randy Wangler of Napoleon, ND; her daughter, Tammy (Tom) Barduson of Danvers, MN; her brother, Conrad "Jim" (Pat) Wald of Antigo, WI; her sister, Idora (Leo) Schmidt of Hazelton, ND; many nieces and nephews and special friend, Vern Erhardt and her step daughters: Bernie Engelhart of Camas, WA, Nora (Andy) Jangula of Bismarck, ND, Rose (Daniel) Senger of Bismarck, ND, Annette Engelhart of Bismarck, ND, Janet Engelhart (Rick Meyer) of Breckenridge, MN; her step sons: Donald (Laure) Engelhart of Bismarck, ND, Ronald (Susan) Engelhart of Zeeland, ND, Neal Engelhart of Zeeland, ND, and Justin (Janet) Engelhart of Zeeland, ND and many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Andrew and John; brothers: Leo (Rose) Wald, Joe (Pauline) Wald, and Louie (Johanna) Wald; sisters: Veronica (Dennis) Henley, Barbara (Adam) Schmaltz, Mary (Frank) Fettig.
