Daryl Rohrick, 62, of Linton, ND, died May 8, 2026 at the Linton Regional Medical Center. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Sannes Feist Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.

Daryl James Rohrick, age 62, was born March 13, 1964, in Linton, North Dakota, to Francis (Jack) And Florence (Glasser) Rohrick.  He grew up in Linton alongside 4 siblings, Cindy, Denise, Cheryl, and Jason.   He was an important part of his father's 2 businesses during this time (Jack's Refrigeration, Jack's Custom Spraying).  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and working in his father's shop on various mechanical repairs.

After graduating from Linton High School in 1982, Daryl attended Dakota Aerotech in Fargo and earned an aircraft mechanics license.  He then attended the University of North Dakota (UND) and earned Bachelor of Science in Airway Science.  During this time, he worked at the UND airport and became a shift supervisor.  After graduation from UND he was hired by Northwest Airlines as an aircraft mechanic and worked for the company in that role for several years.

Daryl later decided to change his career path and went back to UND to acquire a master's degree in business administration (MBA).  After that graduation he was hired again by Northwest Airlines, this time as a financial analyst working in the office.  He became an important part of the finance department and became the lead of his specific team.

After several years in finance, Daryl again decided on a career/life change.  He moved back to Linton in 2007 to help with his parents' property and refrigeration business once again.  After Jack passed in 2013, Daryl continued the refrigeration business and remained in Linton, still helping with the family property.

Daryl rarely missed a City Council meeting and was known for his meticulous documentation of the discussions. In 2020, he became the primary caretaker for his disabled sister, while still running the refrigeration business and taking care of the family property. His mother Florence passed in 2023.

Daryl enjoyed gardening and lawn care at the family property and always had several projects happening at once in the shop and house.  He mostly kept to himself, but would talk to anyone when the opportunity arose, and share his opinions and insights on almost any topic.

Undoubtedly, his greatest enjoyment was his 2 nieces, Grace and Lily.  Especially as small children they couldn't wait to go to Linton and see Grandpa, Grandma, and Uncle Daryl.  Having no children of his own, he didn't hesitate to make the most of his time with them.

Daryl is survived by three sisters; Cindy Rohrick (Linton, ND), Denise Rohrick (Golden Valley, MN), and Cheryl Rohrick (Tucson, AZ), one brother, Jason (Eden Prairie, MN), his nieces, Grace and Lily, and one cat, Annie.
