Dennis Miller, 77, Hague, ND, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. with a 10:00 a.m. rosary at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague, ND, with Father Bruce Krebs officiating. Myers Funeral Home of Linton will be streaming Dennis's service for any family and friends that can't attend at www.Myersfh.com under Dennis's obituary.
Visitation will be held Monday November 1, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Prayer service starting at 7:00 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague, ND.
Burial will take place following the service in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Dennis was born on September 14 th , 1944 on the family farm one mile west of Hague, ND, the son of Anton J. and Katherine (Wald) Miller.
Dennis was raised on the family farm and attended country school in Hague. He married Pearl Van Heukelom on September 3 rd 1966. They raised their children on the family farm. They also owned the Hague Bar, Inc. from 1988-1989. Dennis was a dairy farmer and grain farmer for many years until he retired and got into stock cows. He was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Dennis loved his favorite dog "Buddy". He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards and visiting with family and friends.
Dennis is survived by his son, Elvis (Sara) Miller of Bismarck; his son, Ricky Miller of Hague; his daughter Roxanne (Danny) Lauinger and children Heather, Matthew, and Melissa of Strasburg; his son, Scott (Ingrid) Miller and children Cole, Isabella, and Pearl of Hague and daughter-in-law Melody Miller and children Noah and Katie of Eldersburg, MD. His sister Mary Volk of Hague, brother Conrad (Helen) Miller of Medina, MN., two sisters-in-law, Agnes Miller of Bismarck and Teresa Miller of Andover, MN and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Pearl Miller, son Norman Miller, four brothers, Edmund, Chester, John, and Robert and two infant brothers, two sisters, Alice Heier and Anna Braun, three brothers-in-law, Ray Braun, Rainer Heier, and Pete Volk, two sisters-in-law, Theresa Miller, Fidelis Miller and nephews.
