Donna Mae Schwab, 78, of Linton, ND, died peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 27, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Peace Lutheran Church, Linton.

Visitation will be held from 2-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 with a prayer service at 8:00 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home, Linton.

Donna was born on April 6, 1940 to Paul and Christine (Schmeirer) Job.  She attended Omio country school, rural Linton.  She moved to Linton and spent a few years working at Willow's Café. On March 26, 1965 Donna married Jack Schwab in Selby, SD, making their home on a farm NE of Linton. Donna was well known for her great cooking. The men on the farm especially enjoyed coming in from the field to one of her meals. After Jack passed away in 2007, Donna moved into town.

Donna and Jack enjoyed going to auctions and horse sales, going on trail rides, and playing cards with the neighbors. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting afghans, embroidery, gardening and bird watching. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Farm Bureau Board.

Donna is survived by 2 sons, Ronald (Robin) Munsch, Riverdale, ND and Benjamin "Mike" (Vicki) Schwab, Linton; 1 daughter, Jacki (Bob) Jangula, Zeeland, ND; 6 grandchildren, April Jangula, Jesse Jangula, Matt Munsch, Tanner (Courtney) Munsch, Josi Schwab and Wyatt Schwab; 1 great grandson, Caleb Munsch; 1 brother, Larry (Bonnie) Job; 1 sister, Diane Burkle; and 1 brother-in-law, Albert Vander Wal.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Ray; brothers, Duane, Leslie and Donald; and sister, Phyllis Vander Wal.
