Edith Voller, 80, formerly of Strasburg, ND, died December 16, 2009 at the Marian Manor Healthcare Center, Glen Ullin, ND. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Saturday, December 19, 2009 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg with the Rev. Paul Eberle officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will held on Friday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home, Linton with prayers at 7:00pm. Edith was born September 4, 1929 in Strasburg, ND the daughter of Damian and Lucille (Gillmore) Wagner. She attended school in Strasburg and graduated from Strasburg High School. She also attended college and received her teaching certificate. Edith taught country school prior to her marriage . She married Michael L. Voller on June 8, 1948 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Following their marriage, they lived in Strasburg where they owned and operated the Voller Super Valu and Locker Plant. They sold the business in 1959. Edith then worked as a cook at the Strasburg Care Center for 25 years. They moved to Bismarck in 2001. Michael died in 2002. Edith moved to Glen Ullin in 2006. She was a member of St. Marys Society, and Strasburg VFW Auxiliary. Edith enjoyed cooking, baking , embroidery, crocheting and spending time with family and friends. Edith died December 16, 2009 at the Marian Manor Healthcare Center. She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law: Jean and Al Loehr of Fargo, ND, Mary and Paul Patera of Bismarck, ND and Pam Wagner of Santa Cruz, CA; four grandchildren: Lisa (Peter) Loehr Engebretson, LaRee (Lee) Loehr Faul, Heather (Ryan) Brock, Seth, (Jennifer) Patera; ten great grandchildren: Ethan, Anna, Emma, Anna, Camden, Carson, Jeff, Jasmine, Elizabeth and Ella and two step-great grandsons: Austin and Logan; one brother and sister-in-law: Robert and Bernice Wagner of Granada Hills, CA; four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Joan and Dr. Harry Dangerfield of Fredrick, MD, Dorothy Lipp of Minot, ND, Alicia Fischer of Mandan, ND and Sharon and Larry Babe Brooks of Bismarck, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2002 and a sister in infancy.
