Eileen Morris, 80, of Linton, ND, died December 27, 2022, in the Linton Hospital. Funeral services will be held 10:30am, Tuesday January 3, 2023, at the Linton United Methodist Church, Linton with Pastor Marlin Sapp. Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Langdon, ND in the spring off 2023. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral service on January 3.  Funeral services will also be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 10:30am at United Lutheran Church, Langdon with Pastor Jody Myrvik officiating.  Burial will be at the Lebanon Cemetery in Langdon, ND in the spring of 2023.

Eileen was born on April 1, 1942, in Langdon, ND, the daughter of Gustav and Ruby (Uhrich) Greening. She was raised and educated in Wales, ND.

Eileen married Dennis Morris on October 7, 1961. To this union the couple had one daughter, Jackie. Eileen sold crop insurance for the surrounding area of Clyde, ND. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church in Langdon, a leader for the Cavalier County 4-H, Clyde Hobby Club, and Christian Woman's until the couple retired in 2005. They made their home in Linton. Eileen delivered meals on wheels in Linton, enjoyed meeting with the Red Hatters, the Linton Senior Citizens and was a part of the Emmons County Historical Society.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, and landscaping.

Eileen is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Dennis; daughter, Jackie (Ben) Wald; grandson Tobie (Jamie) Wald; 2 great-granddaughters, Erica and Kelsie; brother-in-law, Wally Walizer; sisters-in-law, Nita Bertsch and Sandra Melville.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Greening; sister, Marry Ann Walizer; in-laws, Jean and Walter Hammond and James and Algie Morris and Jim Melvile.
