Our Unforgettable Mom

Our Dearest Mother,

We remember you best as spending time praying. You prayed when you felt like it, when you didn't feel like it, when it was easy, and when it was hard. You prayed when you cooked supper, when you cleaned, we think you prayed when you were asleep. You simply talked to God as easily as you breathed. When you talked with us, we knew He was listening too.

Your prayer life was certainly your most remarkable and memorable trait. No one was left out of your prayers. We, your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are particularly rich, in that much of your praying was for us.

Mom, you were beautiful. You were beautiful because of what you had inside. Never did we hear you complain about hurt or pain or say anything was too much. You always told us "do it for the poor souls".  You loved us, oh how you loved us. Your one true treasure was always your "little people ". Your love for your grandchildren and great grandchildren could never be measured. When you placed your arms around them, we could plainly see that all the love in your heart was there just for them.

Mom, you were a devoted wife. Always by dad's side, in the tractor out in the field, in the pick up checking the cows and looking at all the fields listening to dad ask "Ma, do you think the grain is ready?"

Mom, your uniqueness as a teacher was felt by your students not from afar, you standing at the front of the classroom. No, you taught with your students surrounding your desk, seated all around you. A teacher like you is hard to find, difficult to part with and impossible to forget.

Mom you were wise and knew so much. We hope you always knew…

"We Loved You More".

With love, your children
