Obituary

Elmer Keller, 82, of Linton, ND, died June 2, 2010 at the Linton Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Monday, June 7, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, Linton with the Reverend Jason Haas officiating. Burial will be in the Linton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 9:00am to 9:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home, Linton. Elmer was born August 22, 1927 on a farm near Temvik, ND, the son of Gottlieb and Minnie (Wacker) Keller. He attended country school. Elmer owned and operated Kellers Roofing and Painting until retiring in 1989. His son Herb now owns and operates the business. Elmer married Edna (Schafer) Hendrickson on August 6, 1997 in Linton, ND. Elmer enjoyed watching tv, word puzzles and visiting with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Edna of Linton, ND; two sons and daughters-in-law:: Herb and Marge Keller of Linton, ND and Alan and Stacy Keller of Kennewick, WA; two daughters and sons-in-law: Rhonda and Frank Winans of Iowa City, IA and Cindy and Pete Kostrunek of Bellevue, NE; two step sons and daughters-in-law: Mark and Chris Hendrickson of Layton, UT and Brian and Kim Hendrickson of Minot, ND; two step daughters and sons-in-law: Sonya and Steve Wald of Mandan, ND and Kim and Terry Morast of Bismarck, ND; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nine step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren; three sisters: Esther Will of Bismarck, ND, Frances Minter of Mankato, MN and Irene Loveridge of Grand Junction, CO and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Garold Gary Keller; one granddaughter, Jessica Keller; four brothers: Herbert, Raymond, Harold and Clarence and one sister, Alice and three brothers-in-law.
