Elsie Weber, 85, Strasburg, ND, formerly of Linton, ND, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 in the Strasburg Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church, Linton, with Rev. Fred Henkelmann officiating. Burial will be in the Linton Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, ND. Elsie Weber was born on May 23, 1925, northeast of Linton, the daughter of Freda (Bender) and Fred Reimer. She attended the Omio School of rural Linton through the eighth grade. Elsie then helped at home until she married Phillip Wagner in October 1944. They farmed northeast of Linton. Phillip passed away April 10, 1962. Elsie married Frank Weber on September 6, 1963 in Linton, ND. They lived in Linton and he farmed east of Temvik. They enjoyed traveling to Canada and New Mexico on a tour group. Frank died March 19, 1976. Elsie was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Linton. She was also a member of the Linton American Legion Auxiliary and the Country Crossroads Homemakers. She enjoyed sewing, baking and was an avid reader. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Elsie died April 9, 2011 in the Strasburg Care Center . She is survived by one son: Donald Wagner of Des Plaines, IL; three daughters: Linda Wagner of Bismarck, ND; Karen and George Saxowsky of Hebron, ND and Jeryln and Allen Bierema of Tyndall, SD; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; and one sister: Ruth Sandwick of Linton, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three sisters, Emma Umber, Ann Kundert and one in infancy, Martha; three brothers, Eugene Reimer and two in infancy, Albert and Johnny.
