Eva (Kuntz)Vetter passed onto heaven on May 2, 2021 at the Strasburg Nursing Home.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, ND.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Linton, ND, with Father Shannon Lucht officiating. Myers Funeral Home of Linton will be streaming Eva's service for any family and friends that can't attend at www.Myersfh.com under Eva's obituary.

Burial will take place following the service in the St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Eva was born Nov 25, 1923, to Kellian and Marion (Jacob) Kuntz.  She was raised on a farm and educated in rural Raleigh, ND.

Before getting married Eva worked at the Sweetheart Bakery in Bismarck, ND on Nov 22, 1949, she married Martin A Vetter of Linton, ND, at St. Gertrude's Church in Raleigh. They made their home on the Vetter farm east of Linton where she lived until passing at the nursing home.

Eva loved farming, gardening, canning, and raising chickens. We all enjoyed her homemade bread, buns, kuchen, root beer and fudge. Everyone was welcomed in her home and enjoyed her German cooking; every meal was a feast. Sunday meals were chicken noodle soup, German potato salad and sausage.  She enjoyed reading and listening to the Polka programs and watching the Lawrence Welk show.

She was a member of St. Michael's Parish of rural Linton and a member of the St. Michael's Christian Mothers.

Eva will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by her son Leroy Vetter Dickinson, son Marvin Vetter Lincoln, ND, son Allan Vetter Linton, ND, son Myles and daughter-in-law Sharon Vetter of Bismarck, ND daughter Betty and son-in-law Bill Remmich of Pittsburg, KS, daughter Claudina Vetter, Linton, ND and Debra Kuntz sister-in-law. She will be especially missed by her 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents, brother Valentine Kuntz, sister Clementine Kuntz, sister Mary Schmidt, her son Kenneth Vetter and husband Martin, and two sister that passed in infancy.
