Florence M. Fischer, 86, of Mandan, ND, died December 16, 2024 at Sunset Drive a Prospera Community, Mandan, ND.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Linton United Methodist Church, Linton, ND .  Burial will be held in the Spring at the Linton Cemetery.

Florence Mavis Fischer known to some as "Marty", was born on a small farm east of Temvik on March 6, 1938.  After School she never left the farm. She played guitar in the family band for a number of years.  She worked on the family farm with her brother, Harry.  Florence could be often found in the field working or caring for the various, different animals that she loved so very much.  She also enjoyed flowers and gardening in her spare time. She was also known for the best homemade goodies that you could ever want.  They were always available in her freezer.

Florence Fischer will be forever remembered as one who never had lemons, but always lemonade.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Adeline Fischer; her brother Harry Fischer and her sister, LaVerne Holzer (Glas), and a nephew, Roger Glas.

Florence is survived by 3 nephews, and 2 nieces, Joseph and Kasey Glas of Mandan, Harold and Jennifer Glas of Bismarck and Robert Glas of Linton.
