Franklin 'Frankie' John Schneider, 54, Strasburg, ND, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, October 5, 2018, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg, ND.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 10 am to 4 pm at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, ND and from 6 pm to 9 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg.

Frank was born on September 26, 1964, in Linton, ND to Mike and Johanna (Wickenheiser) Schneider. He was raised in Strasburg, ND, where he graduated from Strasburg High School in 1984. After high school, he attended Lake Region State College.

Frank was a member of the Carpenters & Millwright Locals #1176 for 15 years, during that time he worked various jobs in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota.

He worked for his Uncle Mike at Wickenheiser Construction and hauled vehicles for Ken's Auto. He also worked for Mitch's Blue Room, Time Out Tavern and Cattail Bay.

He was a member of the Beaver Valley Horse Club and Strasburg Wildlife Club. Frank was a past member of the Strasburg City Council, Strasburg Fire Department, and the Lions Club.

Frank was excited to work alongside his sister, Brenda, on the new cabin out at Beaver Bay, where he lived while he was not in Strasburg. Frank was a very social man, with many friends. He loved spending time with his friends at Cattail Bay and Beaver Bay. He loved driving in the country and knew every back-road. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, friendly personality and his genuine kind heart, and the way he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who would ask.

He is survived by his parents, Mike and Johanna Schneider; his siblings, Michael (Cheryl), Leroy (Suzy), Jerry, Brenda Dosch (Lloyd), Betty, and Bonnie; his nieces and nephews, Ranae, Matt, Landon, Cole, Tanner (Tasha), Jenifer, Sierra, Kayla, Heather, Shannon; and his great-nieces and great-nephews. Morgan, Nick, Ben, Dylan, Jeremy, Aryana, and Ivy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wendelin & Ottilia Schneider; John and Elizabeth Wickenheiser.
