Harvey Reamann, 88, Braddock, ND, died November 14, 2017 at Prospera Care Center, Mandan, ND.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Linton United Methodist Church, with visitation for one hour before the service.
Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at ND Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
Harvey was born on a beautiful sunny day, September 28, 1929 to Harry and Pearl (Sorem) Reamann on the farm near Braddock. He attended country school and graduated from Braddock High School.
He was drafted into the US Army in 1951 where he served in the KMAG (Korean Military Advisory Group and received the ROK (Republic of Korea) Presidential Unit Citation. Harvey also received the Combat Infantry Badge, Expert Carbine Badge, Korean Service Medal with 3 bronze service stars, and the United Nations Service Medal.
Harvey married Delda James on October 21, 1956 at Braddock United Methodist Church, Braddock. Following their marriage they lived and farmed south of Braddock.
Harvey had many interests and enjoyed being part of most anything that gave him the opportunity to visit with people, something he thoroughly enjoyed. These included; selling insurance; former President of the ND County Commissioners Association, member of Emmons County Weed Board, Lions Club, BEK Telephone Board, VFW and District Commander of American Legion.
He is survived by five sons; Kevin of Braddock, Brian of Sawyer, ND, David, of Mandan, Craig (Cara) of Bismarck, and Todd (Sarah) of Bismarck, 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Harry (Loretta), Braddock and Neil (Donna), Bismarck, ND.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a son, James, and two sisters, Shirley Sparks and Faye Turner.
