Heleen R. Vetter, 65, of Linton, ND, died January 10, 2023 at her residence.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, January 14, 2023 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Linton with Fr. Mark Aune officiating.  Burial will be held at the Linton Cemetery in the Spring of 2023.  Visitation will be on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at Sannes Feist Family Funeral Home, Linton.

Heleen was born on June 25, 1957 in Linton, ND, the daughter of, Luverne "Dallas" and Helen (Schumacher) Sathren.  She attended school in the Linton area, graduating from Emmons Central in 1975.  She attended Minot Business School and completed her business degree in Denver, CO.  She came back to the Linton area where she worked at The Fidelity Federal Bank.

She married Floyd Vetter at St. Anthony Catholic Church on November 26, 1977.  Following their marriage they lived in Linton where they raised their family.  Heleen worked for JB Construction as the secretary for 38 years, she also worked at Don's Motel doing the bookwork until she retired in September of 2022.

She was a member of the Linton American Legion Auxiliary.  She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, fishing, camping and caring for her tulips ad peonies.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.  She was an avid Elvis fan, collecting memorabilia and listening to his music.

Heleen is survived by her children:  Michael (April) Vetter of Hazelton, ND, Helana (Tim) Bauer of Washburn, ND and Allan Vetter of Linton; five grandchildren:  Halley, Dominic, Rachael, Bethanie and Griffin; her brothers:  Gerard Sathren of Linton, ND, Todd Sathren of Linton, ND; sisters:  Denice Kautz of Linton, ND and Therese (Leon) Beitelspacher of Linton, ND and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Floyd in 2008; her brother-in-law, Les Kautz and sisters-in-law:  Twyla Sathren and Ricki Sathren.
