Obituary

Henry "Twig" David Kuss, 67, Strasburg, ND, passed away on Sunday, April 14th, 2019 with his family by his side, at the Strasburg Care Center in Strasburg.

A prayer service will be at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Strasburg, ND.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg, with Fr. Leonard Eckroth Officiating.

Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Henry David Kuss was born to Joe and Agnes (Deringer) Kuss, on November 29, 1951. He was raised in Strasburg and graduated from Emmons Central High School in 1969.

He farmed for a few years, worked as a crop adjuster, then sold crop insurance for a while. He was a former member of the Strasburg Lions Club and the Linton Country Club.

Henry enjoyed watching sports, he loved to golf at the country club in Linton, Palm Springs, CA and in Green Valley, AZ. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his friends.

He was known for his good sense of humor, was well liked by family and friends, and will never be forgotten by those who knew him.

Henry is survived by his brother Larry (Terri) Kuss of Strasburg; his sister-in-law Gayle Kuss of Carrington, ND, his nieces and nephews, John (Becky) Kuss of Bismarck; Don Kuss and Candi (Duane) Sauvageau, both of Carrington; Brent (Codi) Kuss of Woodworth, ND; Jeff (Julie) Kuss of Mandan, ND, grand-nieces and nephews, Caleb (Mariah) Kuss; Jared (Ali) Kuss); Makayla Kuss; Isaac Kuss; Chayla Kuss; Brekka Kuss; Cyrena Kuss; Layton Sauvageau and Braylon Sauvageau, Great-Grand nephew Judah Kuss; three aunts, Zita Kuss, Martha Deringer, both of Bismarck, and Judy Deringer of Colorado, and many, many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Ray Kuss and his niece Becky Rae Kuss.

We wish to thank all who cared for him the last few months in Arizona, Sanford Health, Linton Hospital, and the Strasburg Care Center.
