Homer W. Rooker, 63, Moffit, ND, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at St. Vincent's Care Center in Bismarck, ND. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, ND, with Pastor Sean Barnhart officiating. Burial will be in the Hazelton Cemetery. Homer, the son of William and Evalyn (Walker) Rooker, was born in Bismarck on October 2, 1952. He attended rural school for a short time and entered HIT, Inc. in 1989. He later moved to Pride, Inc, where he did janitorial work.Homer enjoyed jewelry, music and western films. He loved to play his guitar when there was music at St. Vincent's on Sundays. He entered St. Vincent's in January, 2015 and enjoyed it very much.Homer is survived by one sister, Frances (Harold) Robinson of Moffit, 2 nephews, David (Candie) and Dean Robinson of Bismarck and a niece, Billi Jo (Mike) Wolf of Baldwin.He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Evalyn.
