Howard Seaman, 78, Strasburg, ND, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Linton Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg with Fr. Jason Signalness officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the North Dakota Veteran's Cemetery, Mandan, ND. Howard was born June 5, 1937 in Little Neck, Long Island, NY the son of Allan and Katherine (Kuneth) Seaman. He graduated from Somerville High School and enlisted in the Navy, serving on the USS Coral Sea. While in the Navy, he met and married Cecilia Rohrich on September 25, 1958. Howard worked for many years as a plumber and mechanic in New Jersey. He moved to Strasburg in 1978 and spent 17 years at Strasburg Farmers Elevator before retiring. Howard kept busy by working on old cars, wood working and collecting antiques. Howard was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Cecilia, his son Edwin (Stephi) Seaman, daughter-in-law Denise (Norm) Steuck, grandchildren, Katie Seaman, Jared Seaman, Liam Seaman, Connor Seaman, great grandchildren, Dylan Seaman and Kalli Harris, sister-in-law, Marion Seaman and numerous nieces and nephews. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Allan and Katherine Seaman, son, Howard Seaman, Jr. and brother, Allan Seaman, Jr.
