Johanna Feist, 93, Linton, ND, died January 29, 2010 at The Linton Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am.Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Zeeland, ND, with Rev. Tom Feltman and Rev. Gary Benz officiating. Interment will be in St. Johns Catholic Cemetery. Johanna was born on November 28, 1916 on a farm near Zeeland, ND, the daughter of John and Mary (Richter) Wolf. She married Anton J. Feist at St. Johns Catholic Church of Zeeland, ND. They made their home on the old farmstead where they farmed until they retired in 1990. Anton died on November 8, 1997. Johanna continued to live on the farm. She moved to Linton in 2008, where she resided at the Prairie Rose Assisted Living. Johanna was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Johanna died on January 29, 2010 at the Linton Hospital. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Mary Jane and Leo Schumacher of Bismarck, ND; three grandchildren: Kevin (Justine) Schumacher of Roseau, MN, Allen Schumacher of Harwood, ND, and Joann (Corey) Jesser of Bismarck, ND; six great grandchildren: Casaundra, McKenna, Garon, Kolin and Calista Schumacher of Roseau, MN and Tyton Jesser of Bismarck, ND; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Leo and Amelia Wolf of Bismarck, ND and Peter and Katie Wolf of Bismarck, ND; one sister, Katherine Payne of El Cajon, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two infant sons, one brother, John Wolf and one sister, Margaret Holzer.
