Judith Ione was born on July 10 th , 1938 in Strasburg to Valentine "Rudy" Keller and Edythe (Gillespie) Keller. She grew up in Strasburg and attended St. Benedict's Grade School and graduated in 1956 from high school.  Judy went on to complete one year of nursing school at St. Alexius Nursing School in Bismarck ND.  She then returned to Strasburg and worked for Joe Bauman Tax Service.

Judy and Al Dosch were married August 13 th , 1959 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Strasburg.  They were blessed to be able to celebrate their 60 th anniversary last summer.

Judy lived a long and fulfilling life of 81 years, holding both her family and faith closest to her heart and of utmost importance and priority.  Judy was Al's strongest supporter and cheerleader; always on the sidelines, loving and supporting him and his teaching and coaching endeavors.  For many years, she washed the entire football team's uniforms each week!  She loved being involved in the interests, activities and sporting events of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was so proud of all of them and loved them all dearly.  Her strong and unwavering faith was an inspiration to her family.

Church, school and community were important to Judy and she was very involved in many different committees and activities over the years.  She was a volunteer for many events and activities at St. Benedict's Grade School and Emmons Central High School.  She also was involved at SS. Peter and Paul Church where she was an organizing member of the Liturgy Committee, a Lector, a Communion Minister and also helped with bookkeeping duties for many, many years.  Judy and Al were also involved in Renew, church fair and other parish activities.  Judy served on the Strasburg Economic Development Committee for many years as well.  In addition, Judy worked in the business her grandfather, Valentine Keller Sr. started in 1911 which is Keller's Hardware in Strasburg until her retirement in 2016.

Judy was a strong, smart, feisty lady with a quick wit and smile for all.  Special memories and interests of Judy over the years include her love of crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and television game shows.  She enjoyed traveling to her children's homes throughout many states and she especially enjoyed snowbirding to Arizona for many winters with Al.  She never met a cup of coffee she didn't enjoy and the pot is always on in the Dosch kitchen.  Her special hugs, her "ooh-ahs" are treasured memories for the grandkids.

Judy will be deeply missed by her husband, Al of Strasburg, daughters Cheri (Steve) Schmidt of Doniphan NE, Sheila (Marlon) Ohlhauser of Linton, Linda (Hugh) David of Chandler AZ, Kathy of Bismarck, Patti (Eric) Erlandson of Breckenridge MN, and son Tom (Tina) of Aberdeen SD; seventeen grandchildren; Jared, Justin and Jaycie (Logan Walker) Schmidt, Waylon (Heidi), Brent (Sarah) and Austin (Kendra) Ohlhauser, Cody (Natalie), Wyatt and Karen David, Kayley, Stephanie (BJ Mosley), Stephen, Greg, Daniel and David Erlandson, Lauren and Matthew Dosch; seven(soon to be eight) great-grandchildren; Emmett Walker, Colten, Westen, Oliver and Jamison Ohlhauser and another baby Ohlhauser arriving in March,  Michael and Isabelle David; four brothers, Ron (Delphine) Keller of Gadsden AL, Gary (Judy) Keller of Strasburg, Bob (Charlene) Keller of Tucson AZ, Dick (special friend Andrea) Keller of Strasburg; two sisters, Mae (Bill) Bosch of Strasburg, Nancy (John) Vetter of Detroit Lakes MN; brother in law Roger Asmundson and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen; her parents; sister Sylvia Asmundson, brother Dave Keller, sisters-in-law Cheri Keller and Margie Keller and brother-in-law Manny Tesch.

Her family feels they were very blessed to have such a special wife, mother, and grandmother and will hold her in their hearts, thoughts and prayers until they meet again.
