Kasper Jacob, 80, Linton, ND died at his residence in Linton.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg with Father Shannon Lucht officiating.  Interment will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.

Kasper was born June 15, 1944 in Linton, ND the son of Valentine Sr. and Frances (Thursherer) Jacob.  He attended school at Emmons Central where he graduated.  He served in the United States Navy from 1965 until 1989.  He served during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged with the rank of SK1.  Kasper lived in Linton and helped area farmers and worked for John Krumm Construction.

He enjoyed visiting, talking politics and playing the lottery.

Kasper is survived by his sister, Rosemary Krein of Ellendale, ND and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Romanus and Anton and sister, Irene Weichel.
