Kathryn "Katie" Feist, 93, Zeeland, ND, died Sunday, January 22, 2012 in a Bismarck Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague, ND with Rev. Paul Eberle officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, ND where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue for one hour Thursday before services at the church in Hague. Kathryn was born September 27, 1918 in Hague, ND, the daughter of Franz and Barbara (Pfeifer) Hulm. She attended rural school. Katie married Adam J. Feist on January 15, 1946 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hague, ND. They made their home on a farm near Hague for the last 65 years. Katie enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, making homemade bread and chokecherry jam. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague, and St. Mary's Altar Society, Hague, ND. She was grateful to share her life with her husband, Adam. Katie was also grateful to share her life with her four sons and two daughters-in-law: Daniel of Bismarck, Tim of Zeeland, Richard and Sandy of Linton and Alan and Kathryn of Mandan; three daughters and sons-in-law: Sally and Pete Meier of Zeeland, Sue and Dean Eberle and Cindy and Duane Welk, all of Bismarck, 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law: Mary and Pius Lacher, Bismarck; two sisters-in-law: Della (Mike) Hulm of Bismarck and Delores (Pius) Hulm, Strasburg. Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Adam in 2003, her parents, two sisters, Margaret and Maggie, three brothers, Pius, Michael and Joseph and one granddaughter, Stephanie.
