Larry worked for various area farmers and drove Hazelton school bus for many years. He also owned and operated Log and Dog Trucking. When he was out hauling gravel you were sure to see his faithful companions, Jasper and Reno, in the truck right along with him. Larry also, along with his 'nephew-in-law', Dean, built the Bucking Mule Saloon in Hazelton, which they ran for a couple of years.
Larry was always showing care and concern for others. He was a people person who loved everyone, and everyone loved him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and classic cars. He especially enjoyed time spent riding his Harley. Larry also had a talent for drawing and poetry.
