Laura Mosset, 89, Hazelton, ND passed away September 21, 2021.

Inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Paul Cemetery Hazelton, ND, Saturday, October 2, 2021 with Deacon Ken Wolbaum presiding over the Rite of Committal at the Cemetery.

Laura was born on December 29, 1931 on a farm south east of Temvik. The daughter of John and Katharina (Bachman) Forderer. She attended rural school in the area.

Laura married Joe Mosset May 19, 1952 in Bismarck. The couple lived in Hazelton for 10 years while Joe managed the Hazelton Lumber yard. In 1965 they moved to a farm south east of Hazelton. Laura worked very hard over the years, gardening, farming and milking cows.

Although Laura and Joe were not blessed with children of their own, they became important parental figures to numerous family and friends. All the nieces and nephews loved going to their farm. Playing in the big red hip roof barn, playing with the many cats and she always had a special dog.

Many of us learned how to work at their farm. Keeping up with Laura was not an easy task, whether it was carrying feed, milk, bottle feeding calves, cleaning or painting. She did it all and fed us too! Everyone loved her creamed chicken and her glorified rice. Laura was blessed to stay living on the farm until her passing.

Happy to have shared her life, Kenny and Evie Jahner, and Donna Forderer and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katherine Forderer. Her Husband Joe Mosset, her sister Delores (Lucas) Held, Her brothers Arthur (Frances) Forderer, John Forderer, Albert (Alma) Forderer and Melvin Forderer. Her in-laws Eva and Morris Mosset and sister in-law Irene Jahner.
