Lucille Snyder, 96, of Hazelton, ND, died November 7, 2011 in the Linton Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2011 at Hazelton Presbyterian Church, Hazelton, ND with Rev. Geary Dodd officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home, Linton. There will be a prayer service at 7:00pm. .Burial will be in the Hazelton Cemetery. Lucille was born on April 16, 1915 in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of John and Amelia (Robidou) Crawford. She attended school at Manning School. She married Kenneth Ralph Snyder on April 16, 1933 at her parent's home. Following their marriage, they lived and farmed northwest of Hazelton. They moved into Hazelton in 1950 where they continued to farm. Lucille enjoyed embroidery, gardening, cooking, playing cards and quilting. She was a member of the Ladies Aid and the Linton American Legion Auxiliary. She also taught Sunday school and Bible school. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Kenneth and Gloria Snyder of Bismarck, ND and Gerald and Vivian Snyder of Pierre, SD; one daughter Joan Wagner of Chatek, WI; seventeen grandchildren; forty great grandchildren and twenty-two great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, a son Dean in 2000; son-in-law, Martin Wagner; grandson, Timothy and sisters:Mildred, Alice and Ellen.
