Magdalena "Maggie" Jahner, 92, formerly of Linton, ND, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in the Linton Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Linton, ND. Burial will be in St. Anthonys Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Myers Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Magdalena was born December 4, 1917 in Zeeland, ND, the daughter of Peter P. and Elizabeth (Gross) Feist. She was raised and educated in Zeeland, ND. She worked on the family farm. Maggie married Frank F. Jahner of November 3, 1938 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church near Strasburg, ND. They farmed west of Linton until 1964 when they moved into Linton. Magdalena did sewing and laundry for different families. She also cleaned phone booths and did babysitting. Frank died on September 19, 1991. Maggie resided in Linton until entering the Strasburg Care Center in August of 2009. She enjoyed watching T.V., especially Days of Our Lives, singing German songs with the Senior Citizens. Maggie is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law: Herman and Leslie Jahner , Alex and Shirley Jahner , Pat and Sandy Jahner all of Linton, ND, and Frank Jr. and Diane Jahner of Fargo, ND; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Helen and Willie Ibach, Betty Ann Jahner and Bev and Myron Bosch, all of Linton, ND; 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, three sisters: Anna Mary Kraft and Carol Goetsch both of Milwaukee, WI and Marcella Keller of Linton, ND; one sister-in-law: Phyllis Feist of Milwaukee, WI and special friends: Ashlee Feist, Charlene Barnett and Herb Walther. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1991, one son and two daughters-in-law, Ralph and Gerri Jahner and Cheryl Jahner, three sisters, Veronica Dorscher, Mary Klein and Regina Hager and six brothers, Clem Feist, Herman Feist, Andrew Feist, Simon Feist, Wendelin Feist and Frank Feist.
