Obituary

Maggie Weisbeck, 85, formerly of Hague, ND, died January 6, 2011 at a Bismarck Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Monday, January 10, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague, ND with the Reverend Paul Eberle officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 9:00am to 9:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home, Linton with a prayer service at 7:00pm. Maggie was born on a farm north of St. Michael's on April 12, 1925, in Kintyre, ND, the daughter of Mike and Rose (Miller) Jacob. She attended rural school. Maggie married Anton Weisbeck in Estevan, Canada on September 7, 1955. Following their marriage, they lived and farmed northwest of Hague until 1975. They moved into Hague in 1986. Anton died in May of 2002. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and the Altar Society and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, crocheting and babysitting. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. Maggie died on January 6, 2011 at a Bismarck care center. She is survived by four brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom Jacob of Linton, ND, Valentine and Angeline Jacob of Linton, Frank and Helen Jacob of Linton, ND and Mike and Sally Jacob of Linton, ND; three sisters and a brother-in-law: Theresia Jacob of Bismarck, ND, Julie Kiefer of Linton, ND and Rose and Ray Weisbeck of Herreid, SD; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Anton in 2002 and a sister, Anna Mary Werner and a sister-in-law, Esther Jacob and brothers-in-law: Andrew Werner and Joseph A. Kiefer.
