Marcella "Sally" Schall, 87 of Hague, ND, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Linton Hospital, Linton, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 22 at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hague.Burial will be in the church cemetery.Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 9am-3pm at Myers Funeral Home Chapel, and 6-9pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hague with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm.Sally was born on June 21, 1929 in Zeeland, North Dakota to Frederic and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Roth) Rempfer. She married Victor J. Schall in Zeeland on October 9, 1950, and the couple soon moved to Hague. Sally was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend; an avid reader, gardener, and cook; and a kind and generous soul, who found the good in everyone and every situation.Sally loved to travel and was blessed with a long life that enabled her to visit many of the National Parks as well as relatives and friends throughout the United States. She was a devoted member and supporter of St. Mary's Catholic Church and took great comfort in her faith. She is survived by her by her children, Michael (Jan) Schall of Kansas City, KS, Amy (Larry) Kuntz of Moorhead, MN, Jeffrey Schall of Portland, OR, Lora (John) Hagel of Crystal, MN, Dennis (Jenny) Schall of Japan, Denise Schall of Colorado Springs, CO, and Edward Schall of Strasburg, ND; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; her sister Yvonne (Jay) Beebee of Brainerd, MN; brother-in-law, Paul (Susan) Shall of Danbury, WI; and many nieces and nephews. Sally was preceded in death by Victor Schall, her beloved husband of 62 years; by her parents; by brothers Fred and Dale; and by her sons Patrick and Owen. Her family will always remember Sally for her love, intelligence, community service, independence, and determination. She was a role model to all.
