Margaret Geigle, 100, Strasburg ND, entered the kingdom of Heaven Monday, May 18 ^th 2020. The Lord said come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 23 at 10:00 am at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Strasburg, with visitation beginning at 9:00am and Rosary at 9:30am. Inurnment will take place in the church cemetery. Myers Funeral Home of Linton is handling arrangements. www.Myersfh.com

Margaret was born November 30 ^th 1919 in rural Emmons County, ND to Andrew and Anna Selzler. She was raised near Krasna N.D, where she attended country school.

She married the love of her life, Albert Geigle, on October 23 ^rd 1940 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic church, Strasburg, N.D. They were blessed with 5 daughters. Albert passed away August 25, 2010.

Margaret was a jack of all trades. She was employed through the WPA. After their marriage Margaret and Albert owned and operated The Strasburg Café, and Skogmo's Clothing Store. Margaret also worked for the Strasburg Nursing Home and the Meals on Wheels program for many years. Margaret was a loving servant of God. She was a member of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where she was a communion minister, and belonged to the St Mary's Society.

Margaret was Faithful and Kind. She was our Rock, our Everything, and always took great care of everyone she met. She loved cooking, gardening, and crocheting numerous blankets and quilts.

Margaret leaves behind her 5 daughters; Peg (Ted) Olson, Shirley (Andy) Schaffner, Carol Taylor, Elaine (Al) Speten, Violet (Jim) Ryckman; 10 grandchildren, Charlotte (Gene) Veirling, Carol (John) Bartlett, Michelle (late Brent) Minkel, Cindy (Kirby) Zent, Don (Tina) Schaffner, Theresa (Jason) Getzlaff, Megan (Rick) Elkins, Jason (Courtney) Ryckman, Jammy (Leslie) Ryckman, Jenny (Darin) Baker; and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her parents; 1 infant son; son-in-law Preston Taylor Jr; 4 sisters Johanna, Barbara, Ann, and Jennie; 1 brother Sebastian.

The family of Margaret would like to extend our sincere thanks to the community of Strasburg.
