At the age of thirteen started working in Linton at Renschler's Café. She married Eugene Bosch on December 23, 1954 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, rural Linton. Together they settled on a farm east of Linton where they farmed and raised their children. Martha was always known to be a hard worker not only on the farm but also in the numerous jobs she had throughout her life in the Linton Community. In 2014 Eugene and Martha moved into Linton. After Eugene passed in 2016, Martha continued to live Linton until entering the Strasburg Care Center in 2019.
