Martha Moch, 98, formerly of Moffit, ND, died September 18, 2012 in a Bismarck Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Friday, September 21, 2012 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Hazelton, ND with Fr. Frank Schuster officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 Thursday at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, ND with a Prayer service at 7:00 PM. Martha was born on December 25, 1913 in Linton, ND, the daughter of Bernhardt and Mary Ann (Batsch) Vetter. She attended country school. Martha married Pete P. Moch at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Krasna on September 26, 1936. Pete worked at the Dam at Fort Peck, MT. They later returned to Kintyre where they farmed until 1942 when they moved to a farm southwest of Moffit. Pete died in 1991 and Martha continued to live on the farm. Martha moved to Turtle Lake, ND in 2003 to be near her daughter Marvelena. Martha moved to Bismarck in 2009. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Hazelton and the Altar Society. She enjoyed crocheting, making many blankets and items for her family and friends and her church ion Turtle Lake. She is survived by her daughter-in-law: Adeline Moch, Bismarck, ND; a son-in-law: Robert Hayes, Turtle Lake, ND; two grandchildren: Clyde Moch, Aberdeen, SD and Sheila (Mark) Sandness, Bismarck, ND; three great grandchildren: Heather (Brian) Nelson, Brea Sandness and Dylan Sandness; one great great-granddaughter, Avery Nelson; a sister, Mary Ann Keyes, Spokane, WA. She is preceded in death by her Parents; her Husband Pete; Son George; daughter Marvelena Hayes; grandson Lyle Moch; three brothers and four sisters.
