Mary Ann Hahne, 72, passed away February 3, 2020, at Missouri Slope Nursing Home, Bismarck.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Herreid, SD.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, ND.  A rosary/vigil service will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Mary Ann Hahne was born November 23, 1947 at Eureka, SD, the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Hahne.  Mary was raised on a farm NW of Herreid and attended country school until the 7 ^th grade. She went on to graduate from Herreid High School in 1966.

In 1967 she got married and had her baby Charlotte a year later.  She then moved to Minnesota where she worked and lived in several places.  She bought a home and moved to Blaine, MN where she worked at Totino's Pizza factory for 6 years.  In 1979 Mary was in a life changing car accident. A few years later she moved to Linton, ND where she worked for Social Services for over 13 years, helping to transport people to and from Dr. appointments and other medical needs.

Mary enjoyed gardening, sewing and crocheting numerous things like hats and scarves. She also enjoyed music and playing the accordion.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Charlotte (Richard) Ketterling; two grandsons Joshua and Victor Ketterling; 2 brothers Tom (Myra) Hahne, Selby, SD, and Donald (Jolene) Hahne, Lehr, ND; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers, Robert, Bernard, Tony, Arnold, Joseph, Willie and 2 sisters, Loretta and Lorraine.
