Mary Lipp, Glendale, AZ, formerly of Linton, ND died September. 26, 2010 in Glendale, AZ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October. 7, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Linton, ND. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wed. at Myers Funeral Home, Linton with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Mary (Horner) Lipp was born May 24, 1922 on a farm east of Linton, the daughter of John J. and Barbara (Boehm) Horner. She attended country school and graduated with honors from Linton High School. Mary married Frank Lipp on May 24, 1943 in Bismarck, ND. They made their home on a farm south of Linton. Frank died on April 23, 1976. On June 12, 1978, Mary married Alois Don Lipp. They made their home in Linton and Sun City, AZ. Alois died on June 17, 1998. Mary continued to live in Sun City, AZ. Mary died September 26, 2010 at her sons home under Hospice care. She was a member of Christian Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Francis and Joan Lipp of Glendale, AZ; one step-son and daughter-in-law: Donald and Jeanine Lipp of Seattle, WA; one step-daughter and son-in-law: Donna and Dale Ingraham of Reno, NV; three grandchildren, Chad, Shawn and Candace Kovacs; three great grandchildren: Derek, Abegail and Jacob; and one sister-in-law: Irene Horner of Montgomery, AL. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three sisters, Anna Silbernagel, Monica Kelsch and Elizabeth Schuck and seven brothers, Joseph Horner, Jake Horner, John Horner, George Horner, Frank Horner, Peter J. Horner and Ignatius Horner.
