Myron P. Masset, 76 of Linton and Ellendale. ND died April 14, 2023 at his residence in Linton.  Cremation will take place and graveside services will be held at 5:30 PM on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, rural Strasburg with military honors.

Myron was born May 6, 1946 in Emmons county the son of Peter and Asteria (Nagel) Masset.  He attended country school and graduated from St. Anthony's High School.  He also attended beauty school in Bismarck and as a beautician until being drafted into the U.S. Army.  Myron was honorably discharged and then attended college.  He graduated from college in Bellevue, WA with a degree in teaching.  Myron cared for his mother and also taught school in Zeeland, ND, Sisseton, SD and Ellendale, ND.

He enjoyed running, exercising and staying healthy.  Myron was the "favorite" uncle of his nieces and nephews and could always make them laugh.

Myron is survived by his sisters, Tillie Holzer of Bismarck, Luella (Mark) Wangler of Napoleon and Anna Mary (Ray) Dockter of Linton; his sisters-in-law, Karyl Masset of Big Bend, WI and Delores Masset of Bismarck; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Pius, Tony and Leo; his sisters, Isabel Miller, Loretta Vetch, Irene Buechler and Bernice Hahn.
