Orvin Kramer, 83, Strasburg, ND, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Strasburg Care Center, Strasburg.Mass of Christian Burial Memorial Service was held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg. Inurnment will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the North Dakota Veteran's Cemetery, Mandan, ND. Orvin Kramer was born on September 12, 1933 the son of Ludwig and Odelia (Miller) Kramer. He passed away on March 28, 2017 at the Strasburg Care Center, Strasburg, ND, at the age of 83. He married Magdalena Hartze on November 27, 1958 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Linton, ND. Orvin is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maggie, Strasburg, five children: Pam Kramer, Sartell, MN, Mark (Dana) Kramer, Strasburg, Donna (Duane) Reisenauer, Bismarck, ND, Jerome Kramer, Farmington, MN and Lisa Kramer, Bismarck; seven grandchildren, Dani (Rob) Fischer, Darcy (Ben) Mickelson, Drew (Leslie) Reisenauer, Mason, Madelyn, Logan and Bailey Kramer; six great grandchildren, Noah, Hannah, Titus, Shiloh, Penelope and Bert Orvin; and two brothers, Eli Kramer, Centennial, CO, and Don (Mary) Kramer, St. Paul, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Agnes Kraft and Katie Klein; and 5 brothers, Pius, Leo, Raymond, Albert and Fr. Peter Kramer. Orvin's family would like to thank the Strasburg Care Center Staff for the exceptional care they gave him in the past three years.
