Paul Jacob Ferderer, 92 of Linton, ND, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Linton Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Peace Lutheran Church, Linton, ND with Rev. Sean Barnhart officiating. Burial will be at the Linton City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Myers Funeral Home where there will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.Paul was born December 7, 1923, the son of Jacob and Amelia (Waelhof) Ferderer, east of Linton. They later moved into Linton where he attended school He graduated from Linton High School in 1942.He married Elsie Schiermeister on November 9, 1947 and they lived in Linton for a short time. They then moved to a farm south of Linton, where they spent the rest of their lives raising a family and doing what he enjoyed most, farming. Paul was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and lifetime member of Bismarck BPO Elks Lodge 1199.Paul is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elsie, two sons, Dennis (Rosie) and Kevin; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Fern; two sisters, Freida (Carl) Wolfer and Edna, and grandson, Steven Wood.Special thanks to the nursing staff at the Linton Hospital for the kindness and care they provided.
